After a strong directorial debut with "The Baddies of Bollywood" on OTT, Aryan Khan is preparing to enter the big screen in 2026 with a new film. While this second project will feature a fresh cast and story, notable is the absence of Shah Rukh Khan in a lead role, as Aryan aims to establish his individual filmmaker identity first.
According to sources close to the family, Aryan’s strategy involves first achieving success independently before taking on the challenge of directing his superstar father. If all proceeds as planned, Shah Rukh Khan is expected to star in Aryan’s third directorial venture, tentatively slated for release in 2027. The father-son duo have already agreed on the foundational concept for this collaboration.
Currently, Aryan is intensely focused on developing the script and commencing casting for his second film, leaving no stone unturned to make a notable impact at the box office. Shah Rukh Khan remains fully supportive of his son’s creative decisions and growth as a filmmaker.
This sequence of projects promises to reunite the iconic pair on screen after Aryan solidifies his filmmaking credentials, delighting fans anticipating their next film together.
